- Cover the dough with flour.
- Double over the dough, then again.

- Start at one end and roll the dough into a roll.
- Slice diagonally from the end of the roll into thin slices.
- Drop the slices into boiling broth.
- Do not stir; push them apart gently.
- Boil for 5 minutes. Do not cover.
