Ingredients

  • 6 large onions, chopped
  • 6 cups bouillon liquid
  • 1.5 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • French bread slices
  • Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the chopped onions in butter until tender.
  2. Add the bouillon liquid, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook until the onions are tender and flavors meld.
  4. Place a slice of French bread in each bowl.
  5. Pour the hot soup over the bread slices.
  6. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and optionally heat until cheese melts.
