Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped and undrained
  • 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. instant rice

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet; crumble it as it cooks.
  2. Drain off the excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes (with juice), instant minced onion, chili powder, salt, and pepper; stir to combine and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in the instant rice, cover the skillet, and remove from heat.
