- Cover again and let rise for another hour or refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours.
- Stir down the batter again after refrigeration.
- Pour about 1/2 cup of batter from a cup or pitcher into the center of a hot waffle iron.
- Cook until golden brown and serve.
