Raisin Casserole Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1 12 cups boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a casserole dish, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder and raising.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add milk and beat until well blended.
  5. In a measuring cup, combine boiling water, vanilla, butter and sugar.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Pour boiling water mixture over a spoon into the casserole dish.
  8. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Note: I will make this up in advance and gently heat in the oven before serving.
  10. Serve with ice cream.
