Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 12 oz. jar seedless red raspberry jam
  • 1 2/3 cups semi-sweet mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, chopped pecans, softened butter, and egg; stir until crumbly.
  3. Set aside 1 1/2 cups of this pecan mixture.
  4. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  5. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle with mini semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  7. Top with the remaining pecan crumb mixture.
  8. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  10. Cut into 36 bars and serve.
