A decadent rice cereal dessert layered with ice cream, walnuts, coconut, and berry topping, perfect for gatherings and satisfying sweet tooth cravings with rich flavors and textures.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1.5 cubes margarine
  • 1.5 cups brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups chopped walnuts
  • 1.5 cups coconut
  • 0.5 gallons vanilla ice cream
  • 1 package Danish Dessert
  • 1 package frozen berries

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine and brown sugar; pour over the Rice Krispies, chopped walnuts, and coconut.
  2. Divide half of this mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Slice the vanilla ice cream and layer on top of the first mixture in the pan.
  4. Add the remaining mixture on top of the ice cream layer and press down firmly.
  5. Place the pan in the freezer to chill.
  6. Cook the Danish Dessert according to the package instructions and let it cool.
  7. Thaw and add the berries on top of the frozen dessert.
  8. Serve the dessert topped with the Danish sauce and a dollop of Cool Whip.
