Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 6 oz Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound Ricotta cheese
  • pinch cayenne
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Blend butter and Cheddar cheese until smooth.
  2. Add drained ricotta cheese, salt, cayenne, chopped parsley, ground pepper, and egg; combine thoroughly.
  3. Place teaspoonfuls of the mixture on a baking sheet and freeze until firm.
  4. Remove from freezer, transfer to a plastic bag, and store.
