Ingredients

  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. regular milk
  • 2 c. fruit (apples, peaches, blackberries or blueberries)

Instructions

  1. Set oven at 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt margarine in a 13 x 9 x 1 1/2-inch pan.
  3. Stir self-rising flour and milk into a batter.
  4. When margarine melts, pour the batter into the pan.
  5. Mix fruit with sugar to taste.
  6. Heat the fruit mixture until sugar dissolves, then pour over the crust in the pan.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the crust is brown and risen over the fruit.
