Ingredients

  • 56 Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 6 egg whites, whipped
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups nuts
  • 4 envelopes Dream Whip
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 medium can crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar into beaten egg whites.
  2. Add baking powder, vanilla, and nuts to the egg white mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes and then cool.
  5. Prepare whipped topping according to package instructions.
  6. Add cream cheese to the whipped topping and beat until smooth.
  7. Fold in crushed pineapple.
  8. Pour the pineapple mixture into the chilled crust.
  9. Garnish with crushed Ritz crackers on top.
