Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. roast beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package dry onion soup
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Lay a large sheet of aluminum foil in and across a baking pan.
  2. Grease the center of the foil and place the beef roast on the greased spot.
  3. Sprinkle the meat with pepper.
  4. Cover the roast with the cream of mushroom soup.
  5. Sprinkle the entire contents of the dry onion soup envelope over the meat and the mushroom soup.
  6. Form an airtight envelope of foil around the meat using a double fold to join the sides and ends.
  7. Bake at 325° to 350° Fahrenheit for 30 minutes per pound.
