Instructions
- Lay a large sheet of aluminum foil in and across a baking pan.
- Grease the center of the foil and place the beef roast on the greased spot.
- Sprinkle the meat with pepper.
- Cover the roast with the cream of mushroom soup.
- Sprinkle the entire contents of the dry onion soup envelope over the meat and the mushroom soup.
- Form an airtight envelope of foil around the meat using a double fold to join the sides and ends.
- Bake at 325° to 350° Fahrenheit for 30 minutes per pound.
