Ingredients

  • boneless rump or Pikes Peak roast
  • pepper
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 or 2 cans cream of celery soup
  • 1 packet dry Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of onion soup

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the roast with pepper; do not brown.
  2. Mix the cream of chicken, mushroom, celery, and onion soups with the dry onion soup mix.
  3. Pour the soup mixture over the roast.
  4. Cook slowly for about 8 hours.
  5. Two hours before it is done, add potatoes and carrots if desired.
