Ingredients

  • 8 large chicken breasts
  • 8 slices imported Swiss cheese
  • 3 slices boiled ham
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the supremes by wrapping each chicken breast with a slice of Swiss cheese and then a slice of boiled ham.
  2. Secure each rolled chicken breast with wooden toothpicks.
  3. Beat the eggs in a shallow dish.
  4. Dip each chicken supreme into the beaten eggs, then roll in seasoned breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the coated supremes in a shallow baking dish with melted butter.
  6. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven on the low rack for 35 minutes, turning only once during cooking.
  7. Baste the supremes often with melted butter, adding more if necessary during baking.
