Ingredients

  • 2 c. thinly sliced carrots
  • 1 tsp. chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/4 tsp. dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp. white pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place sliced carrots in a 2-quart casserole dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine chicken bouillon cubes, hot water, brown sugar, dried rosemary, white pepper, and chopped chives.
  3. Pour the mixture over the carrots; toss to coat and cover the dish.
  4. Microwave on High power for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until carrots are tender.
