Ingredients

  • 2 whole eggs
  • 12 oz. beer
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Mix the beaten eggs and beer well in a bowl.
  2. Add the flour, pepper, salt, nutmeg, baking powder, and cornstarch to the egg and beer mixture, then stir until combined but do not overmix.
  3. Deep fry the batter at 375°F until golden brown and crispy.
