Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups tart apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • Sauce

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle sugar over apples, sift dry ingredients and add to apples.Add rest of ingredients and stir only till blended.
  2. Put into 13" x 9" greased pan
  3. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350°
