Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cubed pork
  • 1 lb. cubed beef
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • garlic to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a roasting pan.
  2. Stir thoroughly to combine.
  3. Cover the pan with a lid or foil.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
  5. Stir the mixture a little every hour during baking.
  6. When completely cooked, mash the meat with a potato masher.
  7. Serve on buns or kaiser rolls.
  8. This dish freezes well for future meals.
