Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1/3 cup light cream
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 medium sliced onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon flavor extender
  • 2 tablespoons Bisquick
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Mix 1 cup Bisquick and light cream well; knead 10 times on a lightly dusted board.
  2. Roll dough into a circle to fit a 9-inch pie pan.
  3. Ease the dough into the pan and fork the edges.
  4. Cook ground beef with sliced onions, salt, pepper, and flavor extender until beef is browned and onions are tender.
  5. In a bowl, beat 2 eggs and mix with 2 tablespoons Bisquick.
  6. Pour the beef and onion mixture into the prepared crust.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the beef filling.
  8. Bake until the filling is set and golden on top.
