Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla or anisette
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 2 drops food coloring

Instructions

  3. Combine ingredients to form a dough, then make small balls.
  4. Shape each ball into an S-shape.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Place shaped cookies on a greased baking pan.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
