Delicious Sacher Torte Bites combine rich chocolate, apricot jam, and smooth glaze in bite-sized treats perfect for satisfying chocolate cravings and entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. apricot jam
  • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and pudding powder together.
  2. Beat in egg.
  3. Mix in flour.
  4. Shape into small balls.
  5. Roll balls in sugar.
  6. Place on greased baking sheet.
  7. Make a dent in each cookie with your thumb.
  8. Bake in a 325°F oven for 5 minutes.
  9. Remove cookies from oven and press dent again.
  10. Continue baking for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  11. Fill dents with apricot jam.
  12. Melt chocolate chips and butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  13. Glaze the top of cooled cookies with melted chocolate.
