Ingredients

  • 16 slices dry bread, cubed
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons diet margarine
  • 2 cups chicken broth or 2 bouillon cubes in 2 cups hot water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sage or poultry seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare the bread cubes.
  2. In a skillet, melt the diet margarine and sauté the diced onion and celery until tender.
  3. Add the sage or poultry seasoning to the vegetable mixture.
  4. Mix the sautéed vegetables with the bread cubes in a large bowl.
