Sweet and salty peanut squares combine crunchy peanuts with creamy peanut butter chips and marshmallows, creating a delightful treat perfect for snack lovers and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups salted peanuts without skins, divided
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 cups peanut butter chips
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Place half of the salted peanuts in an ungreased 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking pan; set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine over low heat.
  3. Add peanut butter chips and stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
  5. Remove from heat and fold in miniature marshmallows until evenly coated.
  6. Pour the mixture over the peanuts in the pan and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle remaining peanuts on top, pressing them lightly into the mixture.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
