Instructions
- Line a jelly roll pan with foil.
- Arrange a single layer of saltine crackers on the foil.
- Melt 2 sticks of butter in a saucepan.
- Add 3/4 cup brown sugar to the melted butter and stir.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the saltines evenly.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and spread 12 oz. of chocolate bits over the hot caramel.
- Allow the chocolate to melt, then spread evenly over the surface.
- Place in the freezer until firm, then cut into pieces.
