Ingredients

  • 3 lb beef
  • 2 (15 oz) small cans kidney beans
  • 1 cup Heinz ketchup
  • 1 to 1 1/2 large cans tomato juice
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown and drain the beef.
  2. Add kidney beans, ketchup, tomato juice, brown sugar, salt, and pepper to the beef.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 1 to 2 hours until flavors meld and the chili thickens.
