Ingredients

  • 6 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
  • 1 c. thinly sliced onion
  • 1 c. thinly sliced sweet pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed

Instructions

  1. Put cucumbers, onion, and sweet pepper in a jar or other container with a lid.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and stir.
  3. Let stand in refrigerator for 2 hours.
  4. Take out, drain liquid, and add sugar, vinegar, and celery seed.
  5. Stir well.
  6. Put back in refrigerator.
  7. Will keep for 2 weeks.
