Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
  2. Combine sugar, 3/4 cup warm water, salt, and oil.
  3. Add the dissolved yeast to the mixture.
  4. Stir well to combine.
  5. Add flour gradually and mix to form a smooth, soft dough.
  6. Knead lightly on a floured surface.
  7. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 2 hours.
  8. Punch down the dough and shape into rolls.
  9. Brush the rolls with melted butter and let rise until very light.
  10. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes until golden brown.
