- Thaw the bread dough in the refrigerator.
- Saute green peppers and mushrooms in butter.
- Line a cookie sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
- Pat the dough to form a square on the prepared sheet.
- Cover the center third of the dough with ham, salami, cheese, and pepperoni.
- Sprinkle the sautéed mushrooms and green peppers over the meats and cheese.
- Cut the remaining two-thirds of the dough into strips.
- Fold the strips toward the center, alternating sides to create a woven pattern.
- Pinch the ends of the dough closed to seal the loaf.
- Let the dough rise for about 2 hours until doubled in size.
- Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes if using white bread dough, or 30 minutes if using wheat bread dough.
