Sandy's Snickerdoodles are soft, cinnamon-sugar coated cookies with a buttery flavor, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and enjoyed by all ages, especially during holidays.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine, sugar, and eggs.
  2. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture.
  3. Roll the dough into small walnut-sized balls.
  4. Roll each ball in a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
  5. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350° to 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
