Tips & Substitutions

For a creamier texture, consider adding a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt to the mixture. You can substitute the medium noodles with whole wheat or gluten-free pasta for a healthier option. If you want a little kick, try adding some diced jalapeños or a sprinkle of cayenne pepper. This casserole can also be made with canned chicken for a different flavor profile.

Serving Suggestions

This casserole is hearty on its own but pairs beautifully with a fresh side salad or steamed vegetables for a well-rounded meal. For a comforting touch, serve it with garlic bread or a simple crusty roll. It also makes a great dish for potlucks or family gatherings, as it can feed a crowd easily.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When reheating, cover the casserole with foil to keep it from drying out and heat in the oven at 350°F until warmed through, about 20-25 minutes. You can also microwave individual portions for a quick meal.
