Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops (1/2 to 3/4-inch thick)
  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown pork chops in a skillet with hot shortening; season with salt and pepper.
  2. Top the pork chops with sliced onions.
  3. Combine cream of chicken soup, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce and pour over the chops.
  4. Cover and simmer for 40 to 60 minutes.
  5. Remove chops and place on a warm platter. Spoon sauce over the chops.
