Ingredients

  • 1 stick oleo (butter)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the oleo (butter) over low heat.
  3. Mix in the vanilla and brown sugar until well combined.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and nuts.
  5. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
