Sauerkraut Roast

Instructions
- Put apple slices in the crock-pot.
- Cut the roast in half and place it on top of the apples.
- Mix the sauerkraut, drained tomatoes, brown sugar, and onion gravy mix (except the gravy mix) and pour over the meat.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is done.
- Stir in the gravy mix during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
- Cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve over hot mashed potatoes with fresh carrots on the side.
