Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 quart onions, chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chicken base (bouillon)
  • 1.5 tablespoons rosemary seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • white pepper to taste
  • 2 pounds whole mushrooms (fresh)

Instructions

  1. Saute butter, chopped onions, bay leaves, chicken base, rosemary seasoning, salt, and white pepper together for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the whole mushrooms and white wine to the skillet.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes, until mushrooms are tender and flavors meld.
