Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1/4 cup onion flakes
  • 1 18 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 lb lasagna noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and sausage in a large skillet, stirring until crumbly.
  2. Pour off drippings.
  3. Add onion flakes, tomato paste, and 2 cans of water, mixing well.
  4. Add seasonings and spices: oregano, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, basil, and garlic powder.
  5. Simmer the sauce for 20 to 30 minutes.
  6. Layer cooked lasagna noodles with meat sauce and cheese in a baking dish.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly.
