Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. shrimp, deveined and uncooked
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 to 2 tsp. minced parsley
  • buttered bread crumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat without browning the garlic.
  2. Add the crushed garlic and sauté for a minute.
  3. Stir in the shrimp and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until opaque.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the skillet.
  5. Bring the sauce to a quick boil and cook until it thickens.
  6. Pour the sauce over the cooked shrimp and serve.
