Instructions
- Mix milk, eggs, salt, and flour into a medium batter.
- Put about 1/8-inch of shortening into a 12-inch frying pan.
- Heat the pan on high and pour in the batter when hot.
- Stir constantly and break up the batter until the liquid is gone.
- Lower heat to low and start cutting the batter with a spatula.
- Pour in 2 tablespoons of farina a little at a time while cutting with the spatula.
- Turn the heat back to medium.
- Keep cutting until the mixture breaks into little pieces and doesn't stick to the spatula or feel doughy.
- Continue cutting and turning constantly.
- Let the mixture brown.
- Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar and mix in.
- When done, sprinkle more sugar on top and serve with canned peaches.
