Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • pinch of soda
  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. icing sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Add a pinch of soda to the butter and cream well.
  2. Sift together the flour, icing sugar, and cornstarch, then add to the creamed mixture.
  3. Put the batter into a cupcake pan.
  4. Bake in a mild oven at 275° to 300°F for approximately 30 minutes.
