Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups extra crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup Karo white syrup
  • 1 package butterscotch morsels
  • 3 cups Frosted Flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream butter; add brown sugar and cream well.
  3. Blend in flour; mixture may be crumbly.
  4. Press into the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Combine sugar and Karo corn syrup in a medium saucepan.
  7. Bring to a boil; remove from heat.
  8. Add butterscotch morsels; stir until melted and blended.
  9. Add peanut butter; stir to blend.
  10. Add Frosted Flakes; stir to mix.
  11. Spread mixture over the baked base.
  12. Cool in refrigerator and cut into squares.
