Ingredients

  • 4 (2 3/8 oz. each) package sesame seed
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Spread the mixture in a greased jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch).
  4. Bake until the center is set, about 45 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool.
  6. Cut into 2 x 1-inch bars.
  7. Yields about 6 dozen bars.
