Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • about 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients; cut in butter.
  2. Add milk and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Roll out; cut into biscuits.
  4. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
