Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine until smooth.
  2. Stir in flour and chopped nuts until well combined.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.
  4. Shape the dough into small balls.
  5. Bake in a 300°F (150°C) oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until slightly brown.
  6. While still warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar.
  7. Cool completely before serving.
