Shrimp-Vegetable Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber, seed removed and sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 large pepper, chopped
  • 1 pound shrimp
  • 1 large summer squash, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Combine shrimp, vegetables, sugar, and spices in hot vegetable oil.
  2. Saute for 3 to 5 minutes until cooked.
  3. Drain any excess oil from the pan.
  4. Dissolve cornstarch and wine together.
  5. Add the cornstarch mixture to the vegetables and shrimp.
  6. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with rice if desired.
