Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 3/4 pound ground hot sausage
  • 1 pound chicken, deboned and cubed
  • 12 to 16 ounces shrimp
  • milk
  • flour
  • hot cooked noodles

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter and saut green pepper and sausage until cooked halfway, then add the chicken.
  2. Cook until the meats are done.
  3. Using a slotted spoon, remove the meat from the pan, letting the drippings drain back into the pan; set aside.
  4. Add flour to the drippings to make a thickening, then stir in enough milk to make a thin gravy.
  5. Add the shrimp to the skillet along with the meat and any juice it may have.
  6. Cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 10 minutes.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the mixture over hot cooked noodles.
