Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Divide broccoli into flowerets and steam until cooked but still crisp.
  2. Place steamed broccoli in a warm serving dish.
  3. In a small pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Saute garlic in the melted butter for a few minutes.
  5. Add sliced olives to the garlic and butter mixture and cook briefly.
  6. Pour the butter mixture over the broccoli.
  7. Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges.
