Ingredients

  • 1 lb. silver fish, frozen
  • 1 piece medium-sized tomato
  • 1 piece medium-sized onion
  • 2 finger-sized crushed ginger root
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Defrost the silver fish, then wash and drain very well.
  2. Place the silver fish in a deep cooking pan.
  3. Add the cubed tomato, cubed onion, crushed ginger root, cooking oil, soy sauce, and Sinigang mix.
  4. Gently turn over with a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients.
  5. Cook over moderate heat for about 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot.
  7. Best enjoyed over steamed rice.
