Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb grated American cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • dash of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Blend the grated American cheese and butter thoroughly.
  2. Work in the sifted all-purpose flour and cayenne pepper until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Chill the mixture for 2 hours or longer.
  4. Roll the chilled mixture into balls 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Bake in a very hot 450°F oven for 15 minutes.
