Ingredients

  • 1 dark chocolate cake mix
  • 2 packages dark chocolate instant pudding
  • 4 to 6 Skor or Heath bars
  • 2 oz. bag slivered almonds
  • 1 large container La Creme or Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Bake the chocolate cake and tear it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Prepare the instant pudding according to the package instructions.
  3. Layer the cake pieces, pudding, crushed candy bars, and slivered almonds in a large container.
  4. Add a layer of Cool Whip on top of the layers.
  5. Poke holes in the final Cool Whip layer and pour Kahlua or Amaretto into the holes.
  6. Sprinkle the reserved crumbs from the candy bars on top as a final garnish.
  7. Repeat layering if desired, and serve chilled.
