Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb spicy Italian sausage links, sliced
  • 4 small chicken thighs, skinned
  • 1/4 tsp oregano, crushed
  • 5 oz spaghetti, broken in thirds
  • 14.5 oz can Del Monte chunky pasta style stewed tomatoes
  • 8 oz can Del Monte tomato sauce
  • 10 mushrooms, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the sliced sausage for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the skillet.
  3. Sprinkle with crushed oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. When the chicken is browned, drain excess fat if necessary.
  5. Add broken spaghetti and 1 cup water to the skillet.
  6. Stir in the stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and sliced mushrooms.
  7. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 17 minutes or until the chicken and spaghetti are cooked through.
