Ingredients

  • 1 can Spam, grated or 1 1/2 lb. ground meat
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Cook the meat in a large skillet until browned slightly.
  2. Remove the meat from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the uncooked macaroni, minced onion, and chopped green pepper to the skillet with the meat fat.
  4. Cook until the macaroni turns yellow, indicating it is lightly cooked.
  5. Return the meat to the skillet.
  6. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, water, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet.
  7. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the macaroni is cooked to your taste.
  8. Optional: Add one can of whole kernel corn for extra flavor and texture.
