Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. sausage or ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 2 c. uncooked egg noodles
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage or ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Add the uncooked egg noodles to the meat and onions.
  3. Mix water, tomato paste, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano together.
  4. Pour the tomato mixture over the noodles and meat in the skillet.
  5. Cover and cook for 20 to 30 minutes, until the noodles are tender.
  6. Top with grated cheese, melt it, and serve.
